Dica: Defina o brilho da tela do seu notebook

Uma coisa que me sempre me irritava é ter que diminuir o brilho da tela do meu ultrabook sempre que eu o ligava. Diminuía o brilho da tela, que sempre estava carregava no máximo, e quando desligava ou resetava o computador, lá estava o brilho no máximo novamente.

Existe um aplicativo chamado xbacklight que serve justamente para ajustar o brilho da tela. É esse programa que será utilizado para realizar tal ajuste definitivo, que será carregada configuração quando o sistema for iniciado.

Obs.: É muito provável que o xbacklight não esteja instalado em sua distribuição Linux, então instale antes de continuar.

No Ubuntu e afins você pode instalar com um:

sudo apt-get install xbacklight

Como eu disse, essa é uma dica bem simples e se presa apenas em definir um valor, em porcentagem, estático para o brilho da tela – eu uso a 30%, pois o brilho do meu ultrabook é muito intenso e chega a incomodar. Teste um valor adequado com o seguinte comando no terminal:

xbacklight -set 30

Sendo o 30 equivalentes a 30% de brilho.

Depois de encontrar um valor adequado, altere o valor no conteúdo abaixo e salve o arquivo no seguinte diretório: /$USER/.config/autostart/brilho-tela.desktop

Obs.: Válido para ambiente com a mesma estrutura do Gnome, como o Unity e XFCE, Cinnamon, MATE, que carregam arquivos no /$USER/.config/autostart/.
