Nova versão do serviço de e-mails da empresa tem apresentado diversos problemas de instabilidade que impedem seu acesso.
Depois de registrar inúmeras reclamações sobre a nova versão do Hotmail, a Microsoft tem sugerido uma solução inesperada para seus usuários: que eles usem o navegador Chrome – desenvolvido pela rival Google – para acessar seu serviço de e-mails. As informações são do site britânico The Register.
Segundo a página, os usuários do novo Hotmail têm se queixado que, ao acessarem a ferramenta por meio de diversos browsers como Firefox, Safari e o próprio Internet Explorer (em diversas versões), eles simplesmente travam e são encerrados automaticamente. Além disso, há notícias de e-mails que desapareceram e impossibilidade de escrever novas mensagens por erros de script, entre outros bugs.
Diante dos protestos, e para dar uma solução temporária para os usuários, a fabricante do Windows declarou no fórum do Hotmail que “alguns clientes que têm usado o Google Chrome para visualizar suas contas do Hotmail não têm encontrado os problemas em questão”.
No entanto, mesmo essa solução não é uma unanimidade. Isso porque, no mesmo fórum, muitos dos usuários declaram que até com o navegador do Chrome os bugs persistem. O The Register entrou em contato com a Microsoft para saber os motivos dos bugs, mas, até o momento, não obteve resposta.
