Eu estava escrevendo um artigo completo sobre o MacBuntu, mas acabei desistindo depois que vi uma publicação sobre o mesmo. Apesar de já terem publicado um artigo, mesmo que em inglês, não foi abrangido tudo sobre o projeto.
O projeto MacBuntu não confere em apenas aplicar um tema do MacOSX no Linux, ubuntu, mas pretende ir além, ele visa se comportar como o SO da Apple.
Existe um pequeno bug na dock(Docky) que o MacBuntu utiliza para comportar seus ícones. O nautilus, gerenciador de arquivos padrão do ubuntu não é carregado se for clicado no ícone correspondente. Procurando uma solução pela internet, encontrei algumas funcionais e outras nem tanto e acabei fazendo uma otimização em uma delas. Não me recordo exatamente aonde encontrei a solução, talvez no fórum do projeto. Mas quero deixar claro que a solução não foi minha, eu apenas fiz um pequeno e simples aperfeiçoamento.
Creio que o vídeo está bem autoexplicativo, mas colocarei um resumo do que foi feito.
Primeiro comece clicando em cima do ícone do Gerenciador de Arquivos(2 caras) e arrastando para fora da dock; em seguida clique com o botão direito na área de trabalho e escolha Criar Lançador.., escreva em Nome: Gerenciador de Arquivos e Comando: nautilus . (ponto) e clique em OK; acesse o ícone criado na área de trabalho do Gerenciador de Arquivos, tecle CTRL+H para mostrar os arquivos ocultos, digite .macb e acesse a pasta .macbuntu; arraste o ícone da área de trabalho para essa pasta e logo em seguida arraste o ícone para a dock. Para finalizar, reinicia e sessão para atualizar a configuração dos ícones da dock.
